Focus hard on your goals. Start with the big goal and work backwards breaking it down by time periods. 1 year goal, 6 month goal, 3 month goal, 1 month goal, 2 week goal, 1 week goal, daily goal, set goal, rep goal. “Discipline is the key to freedom”. Derrick had a nasty gym injury and came here to figure out what went wrong. We spent a couple of personal training sessions on technique and form through the main three lifts, broke down each movement to understand them thoroughly, and how to control the body under loaded movement. Strength training is not just picking things up and putting them down... there is a lot of focus and work that goes into it! There are principles that must be learned to move properly!
